~No foundation required. Just let us place the cradles on some pavers, blocks, a deck, or a concrete pad.
~Heats up faster than traditional saunas.
~Hugely efficient, there is less energy used to heat barrels due to the airspace. Plus, the thick red cedar staves are excellent insulators, allowing the sauna's exterior to remain cool to the touch, even at the top of the sauna.
~Outdoor barrel saunas require no maintenance. Ideal for Alaskan weather! Sheds water naturally, and the structural integrity permits the sauna to handle a substantial snow load. Western Red Cedar is naturally resistant to water and insects.
~With the change of temperatures, barrel saunas are designed to expand and contract within the confines of the steel bands rather than fight and crack against multiple fasteners.
